ENT - Tympanosclerosis

Sometimes healing may not be completed in cases of otitis media, as a result scar tissue can form due to inflammatory processes. This can present as calcified plaques upon the tympanic membrane. 

Mnemonic: 
scarring = tympanosclerosis = white (colour).
